Emma's 1st Food

So we all know that Emma loves both mommy's boob and the bottle but we decided anyways that at 4 months she would try some rice cereal. Here was her 1st bites. She did well. Although we learned later that week that she likes it much better when mommy adds fruit into it! Much sweeter!!!!

Emma 4 month check up

Emma had her 4 month check up today and here are her stats:

height-25 inches (64%) and weight-13.13 (36%)

In comparison to Maddie who was the same birth weight, Maddie was 11lbs 5 oz, and 25 1/2 inches. So that is why Miss Emma looks like my butterball. She is about same height but a bit heavier. But in reality, neither one was actually high on the weight charts as Emma is only at 36%!

Seriously, stop it...the cuteness is too much. Look at how big my girl has gotten in 1 month. 2lbs more....so weighing in at 10lbs!

Still our little stinker, gasey that is!
Still loving being held and co-sleeping
Starting to notice us more and smile and coo.
Not as mad at me during bath time...LOL!
Likes to try and hold her head up and throw it around
Sleeping now for the past 3 weeks or so most of the night! Goes to bed around 10:30 and sleeps to about 5am. Maybe wake 1x for a quick feeding but otherwise she is soundly sleeping with us.

Emma's 2 month drs. apt

For the record, my little peanut is growing leaps and bounds. Her 2 month apt stats are:

Height 22 inches (25%)
Weight 10.4lbs  (21%)

So she has this mamma screaming slow down little girl since you are my last baby :(

6 year old physicals

Wow, did I just write 6 year old! Crazy....wish I could go back to 6 month old. My sweet twin babies are already so big. Here are their official stats for the record as taken on April 14, 2014.


Ava: 43.5 inches (14 %ile ) and 35.2 lbs (2 %ile)
Isabelle: 41.5 inches (2%ile) and 31.4 (1%ile)

goes from 0 to 90 in a minute, turns tomato red...thinking she might have my irish & german temper.
